ReMARKable privacy

If we ask you for your data—for example in exchange for downloading our e-book—we will only use it to process your request. Reselling is not done as far as we are concerned, so we certainly wouldn’t do that. Lending is for books, so you don’t have to worry about your data. We treat them confidentially and carefully. Pinky promise!

What do we process?

We process, among other things, the following personal data: First and last name, address, telephone number, gender, e-mail address, areas of interest, position, social ID, cookie ID, and surfing behaviour.

Inspiration in your email

You can sign up for our newsletter that appears every 80 days. Does it not spark joy anymore? Then just unsubscribe at the bottom of every e-mail.

Hyperlinks

On our website you will find links to other pages, for example from our customers or other cool projects we have been working on. The privacy statement of these third parties does not apply to our website.

Security

We naturally ensure that we protect the data we collect from you as well as possible. Factor Tachtig makes clear agreements about who has access to the data.

Retention period

We do not store your personal data longer than necessary to use it for the purposes for which it was requested. In addition, we retain them to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Under the GDPR you have a number of rights. We really do our very best to comply with this. Of course you can view, change, correct, transfer, supplement, protect or delete the personal data you have provided to us at any time. You can also withdraw permission for processing or indicate that you no longer wish to receive our emails. Do you still disagree with our working method or decision? Then you can submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Cookies

Cookies are simple small text files that are temporarily stored on your hard drive or in the memory of the website or mobile device. We use cookies to optimize your experience on our website. We do this, for example, by remembering your preferred settings during your visit. This way you do not have to wait long for a download every time and we prevent double entry of data. Pretty convenient, right?
